Our second dive was in shallower water, near rocks with some decent surf. The surge was about 10feet in either direction, so you had to have a clue where you were or you'd go smashing into things. The guide took us through this underwater tunnel. As we approached it, I watched him mis-judge and just about smash into the rock wall. I thought, "I might pass on this". Sonia just heads on in. "Hell, I guess I'm following my buddy" I figure and time it and head in behind her. I saw before we entered it that the water was calm through the tunnel and was right. I wouldn't have gone in there had Sonia not led the way. Glad she did, it was very cool.
