Manta birostris, or the Hawaiians call them hahalua. This was such a cool dive. We held flashlights to attract the phytoplankton and the mantas swooped in to gooble them up, just inches from your face. The largest manta recorded was 23 foot accross. These guys were between 10 and 15 feet accross.
